“In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue…He sailed by night; he sailed by day; he used the stars to find his way…”
Today marks a day in history: Columbus Day, a celebration of the miraculous voyage that landed in the finding of America. Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492. He uncovered what was termed the exciting “New World,” which was forever stamped in American history for generations upon generations to study.
The “New World,” the World Wide Web as we know it (graphical based) was created in the 90’s with the introduction of Mozilla; the Internet was technically created in the 1950’s as a way to communicate between nuclear centers in this country. The Internet unfolded a new era of technology that has come to shape today’s America. CPA Marketing brought on an exciting new way for businesses to excel and connect, and further reap the benefits of the Internet and its capabilities. A new era was thus born.
As we presently observe this holiday, it also poses a parallel to the beginning era of the Internet and CPA Marketing, both great technological forces that rapidly swept across America.
Today, we can look at the history of the founding of our country. We can also take a glimpse back at what will also fall as a major staple in American history, our “New World” of the Internet and CPA Marketing.
Happy Columbus Day to all!
